Your club executive has been hard at work this winter getting the club set for another great season of riding, training and racing.
Club Now Open for 2023 Memberships
Despite the historic rate of inflation, Velocity will be keeping membership rates the same as last year: $100 for Individuals, $200 for a Family of 4 (2 adults maximum plus 2 children 18 and under), additional Family children at $45 each up to a maximum Family membership cost of $290.

Zwift Weekend Rides
I’m starting up the club’s Saturday morning Zwift Meetup beginning this weekend at 10am. Put your name on my Zwift Signup Form <<<HERE>>> and you’ll get weekly invites from me going forward. You only need to sign up once for the season and you can participate whenever it fits your own riding plans.
Spring Riding Camp
Block some time-off to join us in Penticton for 7 days of road riding from April 22nd to the 30th. Many of us plan to stay at the Tiki Shores Motel. Please find them online or call them direct to book a room: 1-866-492-8769. It’s fine to choose someplace else to stay and just join us each morning for our daily depart from the motel.
Endurance riding is the main focus of this camp. Each day will have about 3hrs of riding in the hilly Okanagan Valley. Expect some challenge from the terrain and be self-supporting. But we will not leave anyone behind, unless they explicitly tell us that’s OK with them.

2022 Race Fee Reimbursements
Last year saw a limited return to bike racing in Alberta. Any 2022 club member who had race entry expenses can submit them for reimbursements. Entries are limited to ABA Sanctioned Races Only that happened in Alberta. Sorry, no fondo entries are supported. A maximum of $250 per member will be reimbursed.
Each entry fee must be supported by a PDF copy of receipt of payment. Please assemble your receipts and email to me (Coach Kevin) and I will get them forwarded to our club Treasurer, Paul Ermantrout, for processing. Deadline for submissions: April 1, 2023.
Website Maintenance
The website needs some back-end maintenance to bring its code up-to-date. There probably won’t be much more than the home page available for the next few weeks while I get this done. It might look slightly different when I’m finished, but most of it should be quite similar.
