December Update

Holiday Greetings!

On behalf of the entire executive, we wish you and your families happy holidays, and Merry Christmas!

Take your time to still eat healthy, and relax with family and friends. Be grateful for the good health that lets you ride each season. And be thankful for the understanding of your spouses and children who let you indulge in a long ride every so often!

Still Looking for Gift-Giving Ideas?

It may be last-minute, but some riders really do have everything. So why not make a donation to a cycling-oriented charity on their behalf instead? And pick up a tidy tax receipt for yourself too.

On behalf of everyone I coach, I gave the gift of one Buffalo Bike to World Bicycle Relief – a registered Canadian charity. Just use this link so you too can Give GO!

Velocity BMX Riders Make Provincial Team

The ABA has awarded two 2019 Provincial Team spots to Velocity BMX Riders! Congratulations to Zachary Neufeld and Kaileb Torrie for their solid work earning this opportunity.

The Provincial Team athletes get advanced programming to grow as athletes and gain exposure to high level racing, both locally and nationally. The Alberta team travels together several times a year to BC and to Canadian Nationals.
