- ✈️ Flight Cessna – 100km
- ✈️ Jumbo Jet – 240km – Standby only (~10 hours in the air not advised with a 7:20pm sunset).

Club Meeting This Thursday
This coming week watch for an email from VCC Secretary Dave Watson. We didn’t reach quorum last week to pass any resolutions. We’ve got to make a final call before the end of September on the donations of some of our excess Gaming account funds and finalize the transfer of the track bikes to the Alberta Velodrome Association. The meeting will be held via Zoom at 7pm Thursday, September 25.
Saturday Ride
Continuing the volume build-up towards next weekend’s Airport Fondo, I’ve planned an 80km route leaving from The Quarry and heading east, almost to Elk Island Park. I’m travelling home this Saturday, so members will need to organize themselves with Ride Leaders to keep your day organized!
No Sunday Ride
It’s a big cyclocross weekend in Edmonton, with events on both Saturday and Sunday. Our regular Sunday Ride Leaders will be crushing the competition. Ride over to ERTC’s School of Cross at Capilano Park on Sunday and cheer them on! Every good ‘cross race needs on-course spectators!
Last Wednesday Hill Circuit of 2025
We’ll conclude the mid-week hill riding season with Doc Watson’s Hilly Medicine. Sunset is creeping ever earlier, so the ride will start at 5:45pm from Ritchie Market. We’ll take a post-ride poll to grab either Kind Ice Cream or something a little more substantial from Campio.
