Saturday Club Ride
Another big 105km ride to ensure you’re ready for L’Étape. Once again leaving from Charlesworth, but this time looping around Cooking Lake and through the community on Antler Lake.
Velocity Afterburner Gravel Route Recon
As we get ready to host the inaugural Afterburner Gravel Fondo on August 20, a special Sunday ride is planned this long weekend.
Join Ed Heacock and Allan Plesniarski out in Alder Flats at 11am Sunday morning, August 6, to pre-ride the planned route.
Take a look on our Event Calendar where you’ll now see the entry for Sunday’s ride, including the Strava and GPX routes. Load up both the 56km and 105km routes so you’ll have both options handy. Everyone should be self-supporting for at least 100km of riding – fully-stocked flat repair kit, lots of food (consider using a handlebar bag) and fluids. The forecast is looking like the low 20°s and no rain. It should be a great adventure!
Edmonton MidWeek Racing – Final Countdown
There are only 3 events left on the calendar this season, as summer is quickly slipping away!
Pedalhead Road Works will be hosting the next two crits at the Research Park venue. Get out there to race on one of Edmonton’s classic crit courses used for at least the last two decades of local racing!
Then Bruce Copeland has a special urban hill climb night planned on August 23rd.
