First Club Road Ride of 2024!
All right friends! We’ll book our first 2024 club ride this month after all! The weather has turned around nicely this week, with Sunday looking best for an easy club ride.
To hit the day’s peak temperatures, we’ll leave at 12pm from the Strathcona Olympiette Centre for about 2 hours.

Casino Event Volunteers
What a great turn-around from last week! The shifts are filling up, but we’re not all the way there yet.
To re-cap, our dates are March 25 and March 26 at the Grand Villa Casino.

And if you’ve already taken a shift, thanks so much. If you can also work that same job on a different shift that’s still open, please consider it. Remember, though, it must be the same job you’ve already taken. You can’t mix casino roles during any one event.
April Jakroo Opening
Jakroo provides our club kit, and in the spring we hold the store open for a bulk order. That way we can get to the best volume pricing. Even though Jakroo doesn’t have a minimum order quantity, if we bundle orders together we do get better pricing as the item count increases.
This year we’re looking to open the store from April 8 to 22. All the usual road kit will be back. New this year will be the BMX jersey.
Sort through your kit inventory to see what needs replacing. If you’re new to the club, the red jersey is mandatory for racing, but we have no club kit requirements for our regular training rides. Nonetheless, it always looks great to have our group in coordinated kit! Watch for the announcement when our online store is open.
Penticton Riding Camp
