Thank You Volunteers!
Our roster of volunteers is almost complete. We’ve only got to fill our First Aid roles. Peter has requests in with St. John’s Ambulance and the Emergency Service Academy, but hasn’t heard anything back yet.
If you know any nurses, doctors or anyone holding a current first aid certification who could fill these roles for us, please try reaching out. Send them the link to our volunteer sign-up sheet.
Questions about what exactly this role involves? Please contact our volunteer coordinator Peter Sherstan – peter.sherstan@telus.net.
Full details about the race are in our Tech Guide.
Saturday Club Ride
This week’s ride is bit shorter at 50km, staying on the east side of Highway 60, leaving again from Edgemont Landing. I hope to keep all of our race volunteers fresh for Sunday! Please see the event calendar for the route details.
Midweek Racing Venue Change
The midweek criteriums will now be using the classic Research Park circuit (250 Karl Clark Rd).
Please visit the Edmonton MidWeek Racing Club website for the latest Zone4 event registration link. Event cut-off is just before noon each Wednesday. Also, the entry fee has been dropped to $10/race for the rest of the season!
