Blazing in the Summer Sun

Not sure if this coming week’s heatwave is courtesy of global warming, or a blast of hot air from our neigbours in BC … but you’ll be wanting to carry extra-extra water with you riding these next several days. Even consider riding only in the morning if your schedule allows.

Which brings us to the start time for this Saturday’s ride. With 30° in the forecast, we’re going to move the start time up to 9am, meeting at the Olympiette Centre. Ed will lead you all on this 78km route:

It heads east on some great new pavement set down on TWP 510 last year. Then there’s a small loop up to the Lindbrook corner store where maybe you can get something cool to drink. I say maybe, because it’s run by some anti-maskers who were charged a couple of weeks ago. Bring your own mask if you expect to enter and try refuelling there.
