Velocity Criterium Needs Volunteers
In just 2 weeks we’ll be hosting our first sanctioned race in over 2 years! Let’s put on a great event, in the long-standing tradition of Velocity … which means we need your help. Volunteer opportunities for the criterium are now open. We have about 19 positions that need filling.

To sign up, just follow the instructions on the page. It only takes a few seconds. The Course Marshal duties have been divided into morning and afternoon shifts to accommodate those club members who may be racing. If you are available to volunteer for the full day, please sign up for both the morning and afternoon Course Marshall shifts.

Saturday Club Road Ride
As last week was a rain-out, I’ve scheduled the same route again starting from the Strathcona Olympiette Centre at 10am.

Sunday “Rule V” Club Ride
The advanced hard and hilly Sunday ride starts on the west side. Meet at the Acheson Truck Stop, west on HWY 16, at 10am.

Velocity Track Session
No track session again this week because your coach is on a short vacation. The regular weekly session will return July 18.
EMCC Tuesday Night Racing
This week the Masters event is a Track Session at the Argyll Velodrome. If you’re one of our regular Monday track riders, please have the Velodrome Manager open our storage shed to check-out your usual bike for the evening. If you’re not a regular Monday night club track rider, then the velodrome staff will have a bike available for you to use.

Wednesday Hill Circuit
Even though I’m still out of town, I encourage you to meet up on Wednesday evening, 6:30pm, in Hawrelak Park to start the usual hill circuit we’ve been riding this year.

Monthly Club Meeting
Our next monthly club meeting will be held via Zoom on Thursday, July 14, at 7pm. The Zoom link will be emailed out to all 2022 club members sometime next week.
