Tomorrow Is “Fly-Day”
At 8am, a hardy group of about 16 riders will be riding one of 3 versions of the VCC Airport Fondo: Cessna, 737 and Jumbo Jet. The most ambitious in the group on the Jumbo Jet route will circumnavigate the city for a whopping 242kms!
BMX Nationals
This weekend some of our BMX riders will be heading down to Calgary for the National BMX Championships. Best of luck team!!
Next Sunday is Cyclocross Day!
Permits have been secured. Swag, food and drinks are on their way. All we need are a few more volunteers to get the ‘Cross Season started next weekend!

Saturday Club Ride
Our Airport Fondo replaces the regular Saturday ride this week. If you like, you could still join the Cessna for a more usual 87km Saturday ride.
Sunday “Rule V” Club Ride
If you didn’t get thrashed by the Airport Fondo, maybe the Rule V ride is still in your legs this week.

Velocity Track Session
This week will wrap up our usual Monday track session. The track repair went smoothly, and that 20′ on the track is the best. It only cost about $1000/foot to repair!
EMCC Tuesday Night Racing
This week the Masters event is a 20km Time Trial on TWP 520 by the Olympiette Centre. First rider is on-course promptly at 6:31pm.

Wednesday Hill Circuit
Keep up some intensity as we slide closer into fall. Our Hill Circuit starts at 6:30pm from Hawrelak Park.
