May 18 Club Ride

Where: Staging from the Tim Hortons parking lot just off Tamarack Road.
When: 9am – This is our departure time. Please arrive about 15 minutes before
What: Reverse course of last week’s ride. About 105kms. Expect 29kph to 36kph approximate group cruise speeds. Riders must be comfortable drafting. Turnout will decide if we need to form more than one group. Show up and we will make it work! We will regroup every chance we get before moving on as we strive to get everyone back to the start as a group. If you choose to drop off on your own along the way then your must inform the group.
Riders are encouraged to know the route. Hangout for coffee after the ride if you have time!🙂

Emergency Action Plan (EAP)
Always carry your ID.
If any mishap happens to you or another rider in your group:
- Ensure you are safely off the road.
- Call 911
- Station a rider to direct traffic away from the scene.
- While waiting for 911 help to arrive, administer any first aid you know that will help.
- Send a cyclist for help if necessary, or to direct emergency services to the site.
