🍂 Roger’s Harvest Ride & BBQ
The Harvest Ride will go ahead, rain or shine. The forecast is looking iffy for Saturday. That may mean the ride gets shortened. But regardless of the weather, we’ll still plan the BBQ. There is a picnic shelter we can use to keep warm around a fire, share stories of our season, and plans for the winter.
Remember to invite your family and friends to join us too, on the trail or on the road.
We also encourage you to make a donation to the Alberta Cancer Foundation – you’ll find that link on the sign-up page.
Help us plan the food for the BBQ and sign-up before 9pm Thursday October 9th.
Alberta Velodrome Certification
This is it! Next Wednesday, October 15 at 8pm will launch our club’s weekly indoor velodrome sessions! Arrive early, by 7:30pm at the latest, so everyone can get situated.
I’m planning to run you through the full Velodrome Certification Program in our first 4 sessions.
But to participate, you must pre-register for our sessions through the Alberta Velodrome Club Rider registration process. The facility isn’t fully open yet, and you’ll need to present yourself to a Security desk where you’ll be checked in, only if you’ve registered for the session.
All the details are on the event calendar:
Saturday Ride
This week, Roger’s Harvest Ride is our regular Saturday ride.
Sunday Ride
Sunday’s weather is looking even worse than Saturday. If it somehow turns out better, call up your friends and head out on your own.
