The Afterburner Gravel returns Sunday, August 24, 2025 in Alder Flats — and we need YOU to help make it happen!
With riders tackling 105 km or 56 km of scenic, quiet oil lease roads through aspen parkland, it’s a day of epic gravel racing, community, and good food.
Volunteer roles include:
Course setup & tear down
Morning tent & sign-on help
Race course marshals & first aid
4×4 on-course support & sweep vehicle
BBQ & hospitality crew
Announcer/colour commentator
Perks: Enjoy a BBQ meal after the ride + $50 gas credit (carpooling encouraged).
