Tour de France Watch Party
Even though Pogačar looks set to win his 4th Tour de France, there are still many races-within-the-race going on. Sunday’s new circuit finish should make for an exciting finish to this year’s Tour!
Our Social Coordinator Curt Roper will host us in the boardroom of the Royal LePage Noralta, 3018 Calgary Trail. We’ll open the doors at 8:00am and start streaming the last couple of hours of the race on their big screen TV. The finish will be around 10:30, with all the podium presentations wrapping up by 11:30.
We’re going to have coffee, muffins and donuts. Help us plan for the morning by putting your name on the sign up form by Saturday afternoon:

Saturday Ride
With the rain-out last weekend, we’ll try again at 10am in the Edgemont Landing shopping complex. With most of the retail construction finished in the complex, look for Cafe Aria and meet in the parking lot near there. For those who have met here in past years, that’s the same parking lot area we’ve always met in. The route will be the same 66km circuit planned for last Saturday.
Sunday Road Ride
With our Tour de France watch party, we won’t plan a club ride this Sunday.
Monday Track Night
Bring your pedals at 6pm and get set up on one of our bikes. Then we’re on the rail at 6:30pm for another session of track drills.
Tuesday MTB Ride
Head to Capilano Park and meet Justin for the MTB ride this week. ‘Cross season is coming too. Think about riding your cyclocross bike and begin brushing up on your bike handling skills for the fall racing season.
Wednesday Hill Circuit
Bring out your climbing legs and challenge yourself on our Hill Circuit. Meet at 6:30pm in Emily Murphy Park for about a 90 minute road and paved trail circuit.
