UPDATE: Saturday Route Map updated
Sorry this weekly update is a couple days later than usual!
The biggest things to note are that we have two social events coming up! First off, tonight we have our Kick-Off event for the Women’s Group Ride at MKT Fresh Food / Beer Market. Secondly, we have our Spring Social event next week Wednesday (April 12th). We hope to see you there!
We also will not be having our regular Sunday Ride because … it’s race season! Sunday is the first Spring Series race of the year. If you’d like to ride out, we will meet at 11am at the Ritchie Market, 12pm at Colchester School to ride out to the race. Please note that the Spring Series is still looking for a few volunteers to make the race happen. If you can’t race, but want to help out (and watch), you can do so here.
Also note that we’ll be starting out midweek rides next week with our Tuesday Evening Urban Hills ride and our Thursday even Tempo/Threshold Workout.
Day by Day Schedule
Wednesday, April 5: Women’s Ride Meet and Greet

Saturday, April 8: Velocity Casual Road Ride
Note: this will be an easier spin because of the Spring Series race the following day.
A casual, early season group ride suitable for all skill levels. If there are enough people, we will split into two groups.

Details: Bring a road or CX bike, preferably with fenders. No-Drop pace. Part-way through the ride we’ll break into smaller groups and practice either an echelon or team trial drills.

Sunday, April 9: Spring Series Road Race
The First spring series race of the year. Since there isn’t parking at the venue, I would encourage everyone to ride out to the race.
