Weekly Update: January 23-29

Club Coach Michael van den Ham is off racing in Europe!

The conditions are looking a little icy, but pretty goo  for our Monday ski night at Gold Bar Park!  Just a note, if the temperatures are warmer than -5, plan on skate skiing and if they are -6 or cooler, plan on classic skiing! As usual, come out at 7:00pm for a causal hour and a half of skiing that’s suitable for experienced and new skiers.

Remember, if you are interested in getting out (or rather, in) a little more this week, make sure you check (or post) which rides you’ll be doing on Zwift to meet up with other club members. Of course, the  Aerobic Power workouts are also going on strong! If you’ve signed up for these are and are unable to attend, please remember to post these on the swap board so that other members can attend.

Finally, your coach Michael van den Ham is still racing cyclocross in Europe! He just raced the Hoogerheide World Cup in 39th place and finished as the 3rd North American and top Canadian. You can read his report from last week here and follow @MVDHcyclocross on twitter and instagram for his day to day adventures. Don’t forget to tune in  next Sunday to watch him race in the World Championships at 7am MST!
