The “Nutter” or the “Brewery Hill”. Whatever it is, it’s out new and painful addition to Urban Hills.

It’s the last week of July and we are still seeing some great attendance at our rides! Thanks for coming out everyone. We also had a handful of our riders racing this past weekend in Bend, OR for the Cascade Cycling Classic. Congrats to Mark, Micah, and Terra for surviving a gruelling week of racing. Full results can be found here. We also had people racing at Track Provincials, but no results out from that just yet. Check here for results when they become available.

Pretty regular week rides, but start getting your cyclocross bikes ready because ‘Cross rides are going to be in the schedule soon! Starting on August 4th we’ll be replacing out Sweetspot/TT rides with … CYCLOCROSS THURSDAYS!!!!!!!!! (That’s how excited you should be). Cyclocross Thursdays will meet at Velocity Cycle and then treat you to a fun-filled skills and endurance ride in the River Valley. No previous CX experience required.

The Tour de Bowness is going on this weekend and we’ll have the tent there and set up during Monday’s Criterium for everyone who decides to make the trip out. It’s a great event so if you are on the fence, get off it and sign up already!
