Weekly Update: July 4-12

UPDATE: Route maps for Sunday, July 10th are updated!

A whole pile of racing this weekend! We don’t have a results for every race, but I do know that Shane snagged a 3rd in the Cat 3 race and Micah earned 6th in Cat 1/2 in the PRW Road Race. We’ll post more results when we have them, but for right now, congratulations to everyone who raced!

We have another Mountain Bike Skills and Drills clinic! This time it’ll start at  Velocity Cycle.  These basic mountain bike skills clinics lead by Janet Liu are perfect for building the skills you need to hit the trails. They’ll be happening every Tuesday for the next two weeks, so be sure to check them out. Plus, they’re open to both men and women this year!

On the weekly ride front, we’ve changed the start location of the Urban Hills to Velocity Cycle. Besides that, there will be no TT/Tempo night this Thursday because … it’s the first Thursday of the month and TRACK TIME!!!! As we’ve done before, we’re cancelling the ride and encouraging everyone to go to Track League! As I’ve explained a few times already, track is an awesome opportunity to get out there, race, and work on some very valuable speed.

In terms of racing, it’s the Provincial Road Race Championships in Dogpound on Sunday and there is a TT the day before.
