Weekly Update: June 20-26

Not too much to say, except  Mountain Bike Skills and Drills start tomorrow at Velocity Cycle!!!! These basic mountain bike skills clinics lead by Janet Liu are perfect for building the skills you need to hit the trails. They’ll be happening every Tuesday for the next four weeks, so be sure to check them out. Plus, they’re open to both men and women this year!

This weekend is the Rundle Mountain Road Festival (RMRF). We have some club funding for the event, so if you want to sign up for that click here for more details (and do it quickly- Deadline to sign up for club accommodation is Tuesday at 11:59).

On the weekly ride front, everything is as usual until Thursday when I’m throwing our normal TT/Tempo ride out and putting in a Coffee Shop Cruise. We already have a lot of people signed up for the Rundle Mountain Road Festival, so with respect to the race on the weekend, a recovery ride is in order. Still looking to train hard? Maybe it’s time to check out Track League or our weekly MTB ride (read below for more details).
