It’s the first week of the Learn to Ride Clinics! If you are a new cyclist or in need of a brush up on your group riding skills, these Wednesday clinics are the place for you.

Beyond that, we are settling nicely into our summer routine. Tuesday is Urban Hills night meeting at Da Capo Caffe on Whyte, Thursday is TT/tempo practice leaving from Colchester School, and we will leave from Colchester again fro Saturday’s ride. The first Spring Series Race on Sunday means that we will not have a club ride on the 17th.

Lastly, the City of Edmonton is recruiting people to do a focus group on cycling on April 21st from 6:00-8:00pm. If you are available, this is a great opportunity to represent our cycling community.

Sunday, April 17: Spring Series Race #1

It’s the first Spring Series Race! The Spring Series races are a great opportunity to test out your fitness, give racing a try, and have fun. For all the details please see the race flyer.

Please note that this means that we will not be having our Sunday Group rides for the next few weeks. However, you are strongly encouraged to ride out to the race. Coach Michael will not be there, but if you want to volunteer to lead a group out email him and he will post the ride details on the webpage/calendar.

Not interested in racing? The Spring Series is still looking for volunteers. While not hosted by our club, it’s still a great chance to give back to the cycling community.  Remember, no volunteers, no races! You can sign up here.
