Velocity Cycling Club is adding another regular ride to our calendar! This ladies-only beginner/intermediate mountain bike ride welcomes riders of all skill levels. The ride will generally be at a slow to moderate pace, with a focus on skills. Each ride will begin with a skills session before hitting the trails, and then occasionally stopping on the trails to session technical sections. Basic skills to be covered will include basic body position, braking, gears and cadence, climbing, descending, straight line riding, cornering, front wheel lifts, and drops.
The rides will led by Janet Liu, an experienced mountain bike coach with over 10 years of coaching experience. You can read more about Janet’s lengthy credentials on our Coaching page.
This ride leaves from the Velocity Cycle shop, and runs from 6-8pm weekly.
